Super-tuning is a process that increases the smoothness of the reel during the cast. This includes sanding and polishing of the inside of the pinion gear, the spool shaft, the brake case, and any metallic spacers and shims. This increases the ability of your reel to work more consistently with less chance of backlash due to binding of integral parts during a cast.
***WE DO NOT SERVICE SPINNING OR SPINCAST REELS, THOUGH WE CAN ORDER SHIMANO SPINNING REEL PARTS IF NECESSARY***
We SERVICE primarily SHIMANO's. This means that we stock parts for those models (excluding import parts). All other parts are subject to manufacturer's and parts distributor's shipping costs, which means you pay dealer cost, then the shipping costs. I do not charge a retail price for most parts that I do not carry to encourage my installation of the part. It is just easier in the long run.
***Parts for the following reels are nearly impossible to find: Lew's, old Ryobi Reels, Limited edition Cabela's and Bass Pro Reels, as well as reels that are 20 years old (excluding Ambassadeurs and some other common reels). Please understand that I make the best effort to locate parts for reels and sometimes this is expensive with International shipping, so I reserve the right to require the customer to purchase the parts***
We charge a $5.00 surcharge for disassembled reels or unfamiliar reels that have been assembled incorrectly (this is to offset the time it takes to figure out what parts are missing and the research it takes to reassemble them). If you warn me ahead of time, I usually can prepare and we can circumvent the five dollar charge.
***REELS THAT REMAIN UNCLAIMED AFTER 60 DAYS WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF BIGGREENFISH AND WILL BE SOLD TO OFFSET COSTS OF REPAIR, SO PICK YOUR BABIES UP =) ***
We use priority mail, confirmation, and insurance (when requested) to ship reels to you. Priority Mail Cost will be determined by weight of package and destination as determined by the United States Postal Service. Customers are responsible to pay all shipping costs. Your package will be shipped Priority Mail with the U.S. Postal Service. A handling fee of up to $3.00 can be added to the total amount for shipping on each order (this mostly regards single item trips to the Post Office, paypal fees, and special packaging). I will do my best to keep shipping down. I will use Standard First Class shipping on small part orders, or things that are tiny enough to fit in a standard envelope, but this excludes items purchased from the site which is calculated by Paypal.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS/OPTIONS:
For service I usually send you an invoice electronically after I have completed their service. You can pay by check, money order, cash, etc. If you want to pay by credit card or Paypal, I will send you an invoice via email or you can send the money to matt@biggreenfish.com on Paypal. These are the options that I am comfortable with at present time. In order to keep payment in a timely manner I will reserve your reels until payment has been received. Thank you.
